The Association of Historical Studies KORYVANTES is pleased to announce its participation in the International Archaeological Festival "Time and Epochs - Rome" in Moscow /Russia , from Friday 5 to Sunday June 7, 2015.The festival "Time and Epochs-Rome" is organized under the auspices of the Ministries of Culture, Tourism and Education of the Russian Federation and is considered to be the biggest Historical festival on the planet.
It will be held in the park Kolomenskoye of the Russian capital and is expected to attract the visit of more than 270,000 people. The festival will be adorned with the presence of the top reenactment associations from Italy, Russia, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Netherlands, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria with hundreds of participants. The theme of the festival covers the historical period from the 5th BC to the 20th AD century under strict rules of historical accuracy.
The Association of Historical Studies KORYVANTES with a 10-member team will present to the international audience:
- Hoplite Phalanx drills
- Armed Pankration
- Traditional Archery
- Applications of Experimental Archaeology and Living History
- Interactive applications with the public
