The Association of Historical Studies “KORYVANTES” is pleased to announce the participation of it's Traditional Archery Team in the International Traditional Archery Competition that will take place in Gümüşhacıköy (Argyrochorion) area of the Pontic Amasya province in Turkey on 22 & 23 June 2013.
Representing once more the Hellenic Cultural and Archery Tradition, by continuing our International Participations and immediately after our Participation in the Istanbul International Traditional Archery Games (15-16 June 2013), we will also take part in one of the most important Traditional Archery Festivals in Europe were there will also be top archers from 18 countries in addition to the top Turkish Archery Clubs.
Our eight members team will present to the  audience moment of Ancient Classic and Late Byzantine Archery, while striving for distinction in the shooting range.

The Festival is not limited only in the narrow horizon of the archery contest but extends to the importance of the cultural characteristics that each national mission has to show. National costumes, equipment reconstructions, bow and war armament in conjunction with many cultural activities that are offered by the organizers transform the whole happening in a rare celebration of athletics and culture.
The Festival is covered from a large number of TV stations and other Mass Media, transferring internally and internationally the eternal Olympic message of the noble athletic contest of the participants.
You are all welcome!
