Προπόνηση Σπαθασκίας και Παραδοσιακής Τοξοβολίας σε Αθήνα και Θεσσαλονίκη, Κυριακή 20 Οκτωβρίου 2013

Την Κυριακή 20 Oκτωβρίου 2013 πραγματοποιήθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία η εβδομαδιαία Προπόνηση του Συλλόγου Ιστορικών Μελετών "Κορύβαντες" σε Αθήνα και Θεσσαλονίκη.

Στο χώρο προπονήσεως του Συλλόγου μας στην Αθήνα, μέλη του Συλλόγου μας είχανε την ευκαιρία να εκπαιδευτούνε στην χρήση του χρήση του μεσσαιωνικου μακρου ξίφους κάτω από την τεχνική καθοδήγηση του εκπαιδευτή σπαθασκίας κου Γεώργιου Γεωργά. Στην συνέχεια πραγματοποίθηκε προπόνηση Παραδοσιακής Τοξοβολίας , εκτελώντας βολές σε στόχους μέσων αποστάσεων δοκιμάζοντας παράλληλα μέρoς του καινούργιου μας εξοπλισμού.

Σε ανοιχτό χώρο προπονήσεων στην Θεσσαλονίκη , μέλη του Συλλόγου μας προπονήθηκαν στην Παραδοσιακή Τοξοβολία σε διαφόρων τύπων στόχους, σε μια συνάντηση κατα την οποία επιχειρήθηκε και η πειραματική δοκιμή ανακατασκευασθέντων βελών της νεολιθικής εποχής.

Traditional Archery Training in Athens, October 13 2013

On Sunday, October 13 2013, our Association held with great success a Traditional Archery session in our trainground in Athens. Our archers through a 3 hour training workout, had the opportunity to shoot using an experimentally reconstructed archer's shield of the  Classical period, testing the use of it in various techniques of shooting.

Προπόνηση Παραδοσιακής Τοξοβολίας , Κυριακή 13 Οκτωβρίου 2013

Την Κυριακή 13 Οκτωβρίου 2013, πραγματοποιήθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία από μέλη του Συλλόγου μας , προπόνηση Παραδοσιακής Τοξοβολίας στην περιοχή της Αθήνας.

 Οι τοξότες μας, μέσα από μια 3ωρη προπόνηση , είχαν την ευκαιρία να τοξεύσουν με την χρήση πειραματικά ανακατασκευασμένης ασπίδας τοξότη Κλασσικής περιόδου , δοκιμάζοντας την χρήση της σε διάφορες τεχνικές τόξευσης.

Swordmanship and Traditional Archery Training , September 29 2013

On Sunday September 29 2013, our Association helded a training session on Swordmanship and Traditional Archery.

Members of our Association had the opportunity to be trained in the use of the Byzantine sword  "spathion" (a straight double-edged sword handed descendant of the Roman broadsword)- but without the use shield- ,under the technical guidance of the swordmanship instructor  Georgios Georgas , while in context of Traditional Archery our members held shots in midle range targets.

Προπόνηση Σπαθασκίας και Παραδοσιακής Τοξοβολίας , 29 Σεπτεμβρίου 2013

Την Κυριακή 29 Σεπτεμβρίου 2013 πραγματοποιήθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία Προπόνηση Σπαθασκίας & Παραδοσιακής Τοξοβολίας του Συλλόγου Ιστορικών Μελετων ΚΟΡΥΒΑΝΤΕΣ.
Μέλη του Συλλόγου μας είχανε την ευκαιρία να εκπαιδευτούνε στην χρήση του Βυζαντινού σπαθιού τύπου ‘σπαθίον’ (ένα ίσιο δίκοπο μονόχειρο σπαθί απόγονος της Ρωμαϊκής σπάθας) χωρίς όμως τη χρήση ασπίδας, κάτω από την τεχνική καθοδήγηση του εκπαιδευτή σπαθασκίας κου Γεώργιου Γεωργά , ενω παράλληλα στα πλαίσια της Παραδοσιακής Τοξοβολίας πραγματοποιήθηκαν βολές σε στόχους μέσων αποστάσεων.

Αναζητηστε στα περίπτερα το νέο ΙΧΩΡ , τευχος 131 (Ιούλιος - Αυγουστος 2013) , στο οποίο περιλαμβάνεται ενα εκτενές 12-ΣΕΛΙΔΟ αφιερωμα στην συμμετοχή του Συλλόγου μας ,στους Διεθνείς Αγώνες Παραδοσιακής Τοξοβολίας της Κωνσταντινουπόλεως και Αμάσειας του Πόντου (Ιούνιος 2013), μεσα απο το άρθρο του μέλους του Συλλόγου μας Λυκούργου Μπαλοδήμου. 

Το αρθρο κοσμειται με υψηλής αισθητικής φωτογραφίες του Συλλόγου.

Παραδοσιακή Τοξοβολία, Προπόνηση 22 Σεπτεμβρίου 2013

Η ομάδα Παραδοσιακής Τοξοβολίας του Συλλόγου Ιστορικών Μελετών ΚΟΡΥΒΑΝΤΕΣ, πραγματοποίησε με μεγάλη επιτυχία προπόνηση στην περιοχή της Αθήνας, την Κυριακή 22 Σεπτεμβρίου 2013. 

KORYVANTES in " BIGA 2013 ". Participation in the 4th International Traditional Archery Festival. 8 & 9 September 2013

The Traditional Archery Team of Association of Historical Studies KORYVANTES had the honor to attend in the 4th International Horseback and Traditional Archery Festival, held in the town of Biga Turkey (Ancient City "Πηγαία- Pigaia", Canakale / Dardanelles) on September 8 and 9 , 2013.

The festival gathered the attention of leading figures of the sport from the USA, Iran, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, Slovakia, Hungary, Switzerland, England, Poland, Germany, Bulgaria and Ukraine.Totally 265 athletes, 46 from abroad and 219 from Traditional Archery Associations from Turkey.

The KORYVANTES Association with a two-member mission carried out the honorary representation of Greece . Performing a world-premiere presentation of long range archery shots (more than 70 meters) in combination with the use of heavy composite armor ( linothorax type) ,greaves and hoplite shield (total weight about 25 weapons kg) , displaying depictions of Hoplite-Archers on ancient vases and sculptures.

The results and experiences of the presentation will be incorporated into a research of the Association that will be presented on the upcomming future.

Special thanks to the Director of the festival Mr Metin Ateş for the kind invitation in our team , as long as to the other organizers of the event, for thir excellent hospitality.
